We have six NHL Teams, I don´t know if Victoria will have a chance to get in as there was something about that...
1. Toronto Maple Leafs
2. Otawa Senators
3. Montreal Canadians
4. Calgary Flames
5. Edmonton Oilers
6. Vancuver Canucks

Im no hockey fan but I DO live in Victoria and I can tell you that there is no Victorian Hockey Team, the Canucks are enough for BC.

Actually Victoria did have a WCHL team that won the Stanely Cup. They were the last team outside the NHL to win it. The WCHL Western Canada Hockey League was created around 1921 and folded around 1926 with most of the Victoria Cougars going to Detroit to form the Detroit Cougars. This team would eventually give way to the Detroit Red Wings.

wow we only have 6 teams! that sucks well how much does it suck that the hockey players are on strike? well if you think about it it´s everyone´s loss, it´s the hockey player´s loss because they don´t get their money, it´s the people who don´t want the hockey players to get their money´s loss & it´s our loss because we don´t get to watch it, does anyone have any comments? i´m mad! lol

it does suck! and to conferm it victoria didn´t have a team but it would be fair if bc had 2, ontario does (toronto maple leafs & the sens) ugggggh i really hate how their´s no hockey

Saskatchewan deserves a team, man. there are 6 NHL teams period. Saskatchewan almost got a team but they went to St Louis instead

Calgary is sooooo bad it was luck they made it to the Stanley Cup, and playoffs
