| Subject: Why people immigrate from Japan to Canada?? |

I have seen many posts about Japan computer programmers with visas in USA, who are also trying to immigrate to Canada. Why do they want to stay in Canada?
I heard, Japan is a pretty cool country with good opportunities for IT professionals, a rich culture, and a nice large cities. Why are all these people so desperate to remain either in USA or Canada?

People were always migrating and immigrating from one place to another from one country to another. I don´t know from where does this question comes. It is in people´s nature to migrate.

There are simply too many people in Japan and life is becoming hard. People do work a lot and have very little of vacation. In Canada is different people work less, have more time off. Definitely better life style is a big factor of Japanese immigration. Similarly with Hong Kong and other countries in Japaneese neighbourhood.

As a Canadian, I know no other place to live. But I am interested on migrating out. Born somewhere else, Canada has many cool features as seen from abroad. Born here, Canada has many cool features as seen from home.
If I migrate out of Canada, its only for the experience and the fact that this planet is ours, not just to be subdivided among warlards and sultans. Borders are important but freedom to move around and be safe is more important.

Canada is an English speaking country, unlike Japan and elsewhere. Canada has a stable government and better standard of living plus free medical. In Canada, you get a chance to become permanent residence or citizen. They don´t do that in Japan or Hong Kong. Canada is safe, clean and orderly. You have to see it to believe it...
