Hi Mircea,
I am in a similar situation as your?s. When is your AOR? I am working in Ontario on a 2-year post-graduation work permit. I plan on sending a letter soon to get points for arranged employment because I think I qualify. I had several questions for you. Did you apply as a regular skilled worker as well? What did you use as your work experience? Did you get a request for IELTS results around August 2005? Hope we can get in touch.

hi Joy,
I applied in Buffalo in Mar 2005 and I got AOR in April 2005. I am hoping for the IA to come during the same time frame as you do.
I´m in Alberta working for the City of Edmonton as a corporate ergonomist and statistician and I´ll renew my work permit in Feb for the second year of work.
I included my work details and contract with the initial application. I applied as a SW and for work experience I have about 1.5 years as a medical resident, 1.5 year as a postgraduate researcher/teacher and 1 year in my current position.
I finished my PhD here and I´m married to a Canadian citizen. I think this is the reason for not being asked for an IELTS exam.

The reason is not that, u would have satisfied 67 points on other clauses and they would have ignored ur english proficieny, the new law states IELTS as an requirement for high proficiency in English (in reply to: Hi Mircea - post graduate work permit holder)
