The lawyer I hired to help me with my application said that they have been receiving IAs for people who got AOR in January 2005

If Jan 05ers are getting IA, that´s not bad I would say.
Anonymous, I am also AOR Mar 05. Let´s hope we will be in the hot seat soon..

john, before answering this question rather crudely, think about this: there are applicants (such as mine) that don´t have a straightforward background. In those cases hiring a lawyer can be very helpful and the money paid to them is worth a lot of headaches. I´m speaking for myself. On the other hand, if your background is uncomplicated, a lawyer wouldn´t be needed.

My AOR is march 2005.

Thanks Catocan. I´m not the principal applicant, my partner is, and he´s american, so, he´s english is very good. We hired a lawyer because he would know a lot better about applications, and actually is not that expensive to get one.

March AOR (in reply to: No IA news this week?)

Good to see so many Feb to Mar AORs here. Mine is a late Mar AOR as well. I´m hoping for my IA in December some time. Keeping my fingers crossed! Is everyone here in-Canada applicants? I am.

hey Joy, I am.. but i´m a newbie so to speak. Vegreville JUST received my application as of Sept 22nd of this year.

could you please email me at elewis@kmts.ca and let me know if you got any type of correspondence from CIC after you applied.. and what it was and timeframe wise? I´m not hearing much movement for inland lately and it´s worrying me. lol

thanks
