Subject: Proof of residence
As per requirement I can only apply to a specific visa post if I have been living there more than one year. I have been working here in Denmark since 2003 on residence and work permit. However what should I show as a proof of residence. Work and residence permit on my passport is in danish should just send the copy of it without translation? or PCC, which is in eglish would be enough?
Advice please

Work and residence permit should be fine as long as they mention when you were admitted and for what duration.

you can add a letter from your dentist or family doctor who know you at least a year, that´s what I did in Canada though

the visa post will be where one has been living in the last 18 months if he stays abroad otherwise his homecountry related office.

Another thing the docs must be in english if u want service in english or french if u want service in french and must be translated by authrorized translator and then attested by doctors, bank manager, postal manager, notary public or any govt. officer of Denamrk, which are clearly mentioned in the application kit (please look at the insturction section before filling the application form). If there is a possiblility that u will move after 1-2 year before finalization of your case then at that time inform them by mail or fax with ur new location. The file will be transferred although its very much time consuming process.
