I was going through the yogi website and they are issuing visas for those who got done with medicals etc. in Feb -May 2005.
So looks like my backlog theory is not correct.
A few examples from the yogi799.com:
(I have removed the names)
Mr.X: Meds-May 2005,PPR-May 2005, Visa- June 2005 (looks like he got both his PPR and med papers at the same time)
Mr.Y: Meds- Dec 2004, PPR- Feb 2005, Visa-May 2005
I also noticed that for many New Delhi Cases the medicals and PPR dates were very close, I havent had that luck, but how about u guys (New Delhi) ? But at the same time there are some who had to wait close to a year or more after PPR to get their visa.
The workings of CHC New Delhi are strange. Anyway good luck to all of you !
PS. Raman did you get any feedback from New Delhi regarding your Passports?

(in reply to: CHC New Delhi info.) They don´t reply any mail. I have asked them two times where my case stands. I asked by e-mail. My e-cas status also shows "IN PROCESS" after seven months after medical. I am really very confused.

(in reply to: CHC New Delhi info.) I hope they can improve on e-cas. I wont be surprised even after landing it shows "in process" :). Iam sorry to hear about your wait even after sending in the passports, hopefully they should give you a reply.I guess we will just have to play the waiting game.
