Subject: Pay slips
Dear doughnuts ty for your reply
I have an official contract from the university mentioning that I have been employed as full time research assistant working hours minimum 37hrs/week and my salaty. 38% tax and pension deduction etc.I have already receieved reference letter from my supervisor mentioning everything.
I live in denmark not in the UK. I have 33 pay slips ( 33 monthns) and all are in danish. u think do i need to submit pay slips as well if yes then sould I submit all of them? Translation in denmark is very expensive I dont think I would be able to get them all translated.

Thanx again for your help :)
regards

Ahh Denmark :). I did not submit all my pay slips just copies of a few (Jan,June,Dec)from each year as it would be cumbersome to send the whole thing. I also included copies of my W2 forms, this is a 1 page paper in the US,we recieve each year. This is used to file your tax returns and it does indicate the employer and your annual wages. Probably you have something similar in Denmark. You are right, translating everything is going to be very expensive. But you know what the official contract should be good enough as that shows your tax and pension deduction.

Apart from this you are going to be sending copies of your presentations etc. I would also include business cards of the advisor and the HR manager. I also went to the extent of photcopying a page of the company/lab contact book and highlighting my name & phone number among the list on the page to show that I worked there :). I also made photocopies of my university ID´s and work ID´s.I sincerely believe, that the CIC is not going to think that you have dubious papers, especially since you are doing your PhD from a country with high standards of education. Plus you have a masters in a relative field. Submitting all these papers should be sufficient proof of your work exp.

I got an interview waiver :), even though it took me forever because of my visa post. In the end if they have doubts they will contact you or even your supervisor or ask for addtl. documents. But Iam sure you will be fine. Good luck!
