Subject: Question re: SW application
Hi all: I´ve read a fair bit about being proactive during the application process. So here´s my question. Re: work experience, I just sent in the originals of my contract, a letter from the company with my duties, pay, benefits bla bla, and also a reference letter. My arranged employment is also with the same company that I worked for during the one yr. I worked for a reputed company in Canada. However I didn´t really send any tax forms or pay stubs to CIC. Do you think its wise for me to send this info to them now? Today actually makes one year since I applied. Or is the info I sent them enough? All letters were typed on company letterhead and have the company seal on them with businss cards and contact info.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Candice,

I agree with DB. Tax returns are one of the best ways to show that you worked for the company you have mentioned on the immigration forms and that you did earn some money.

Send the tax returns for 2004 at least and send the pay stubs for 2005.

Ummm...hope I dont sound retarded but by tax returns you mean my T4 statement? I could also send the final CCRA statement of account showing I owe nothing and that I have paid whatever money I owed? I cant think of anything else.
