Land in Canada (in reply to: Drop the PR and re-apply later) If you have been approved then why dont you land in Canada and get PR card - it just takes a couple of weeks. To maintain your PR you have to stay in Canada for 2 years out of a total of 5 years. So even if you leave Canada after getting PR for 3 years you can return to Canada.
As you say that you want to come to Canada after 2 years so this way you dont have to bother about applying for PR again.

(in reply to: Drop the PR and re-apply later) Having an approved PR is a blessing and going thru the whole application process is a tediuos task. Land in Canada, leave then come back to comply the 2/5 PR stay.

(in reply to: Drop the PR and re-apply later) the problem is the landing visa can not be extended and I don´t think I have enough time to apply for US visa , go to canada and go back to the US.

(in reply to: Drop the PR and re-apply later) Things will get more complicated here if two or more posters use the same name such as Anonymous.
