Can somebody please advice, what do i need to get PCC from India and USA. I have just received a demand for both form Can. Embassy which says that I need to have PCC from "District Senior Supridendent of Police" and not from regional passport office.
What is the procedure of getting the PCC from USA ? Any help will be apreciated.

I am currently in Canada and applied for PR thru Buffalo. I got my PCC from the Indian Consulate General in Toronto for a minimal fee. You can look up the closest Indian post to you and get information from them or their website.

Contact the Indian embassy that is responsible for your area of residence. Fill in the miscellaneous services form and apply for PCC. You will have to send the appropriate fee and a photocopy of your passport. When your PCC is ready they will let you know and then you have to send your original passport to the embassy. Choose the embassy responsible for your area of residdence from the following:
Embassy of India, Washington, DC
(Consular Jurisdiction: Bahamas, Bermuda, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia
Consulate General of India - New York
(Consular Jurisdiction: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virgin Islands)
Consulate General of India - San Francisco
(Consular Jurisdiction: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming)
