Subject: Wife pregnant
We have applied under skilled worker category in Feb 2005.
AOR - 24th Mar 2005
IA not yet received.

Should I let CIC know about expected addition to the family or shall I wait for IA?

Any suggestions

Get immediate proof from a CIC approved doctor and send ASAP. Just my opinion

agree, send proof fof child to CIC. Once your child is born you will need to pay the processing fee and add the child to your application. I also believe your child will need to complete the medical screening.

You dont need to tell anything to Buffalo till the baby is born. When the baby is born send the following documents:

1) Certified copy of baby?s Birth Certificate;
2) Copy of Passport;
3) the second page of IMM0008;
4) Application fee - Please check
5) 4 photos;
6) Cover letter to inform CIC the birth of child - Mention your file number
7) Additional Family information (IMM 5406) form

If you get IA before the baby is born then just write a letter and mention that your wife can not get the medical done as she is pregnant.

don´t worry about the immigration too much, especially during the last trimester, it can make your baby hate CIC forever!
