Hello Dear Friends:
First of all I want to thank you all for your support during this time. Here is my story I applied for PR in October 04 i was a Postgraduate student unfortunately I lost my job in May 05 and i could not extend mi visa, human resources never gave me a HRDC confirmation for that reason I was pushed to come back to my home country about a month ago.
Today I received my IA no interview needed no further documentation needed I am very happy to know Canada accepted me,my concern is I have to take my medical exams before 60 days, I wonder if i can take them in my home country and tell the doctor to mail the results to buffalo, if it is not possible i will have to go and take the exams in Canada and at this time that would be very hard since I am working and to get permission to go to Canada would be very hard, I can´t quit the job cause I still have to remain here until i get my visa stamped in the passport.
If you can give me advise I would appreciate it , Once again you guys have been amazing.

yes u can do ur meds in ur home country from the designated medical practioner u can go www.cic.gc.ca to see the list. it wont be any problem just make sure u have a tracking number when ur doctor mails the results to ottawa

Hi, I was in a similar situation. Left Canada and did my medicals in another country, with a Designated Medical Practitioner there.
Also, double check the forms you have, I believe the medical is to be sent to Ottawa, at the address they provide. Make sure the doctor knows this address. Also, ask the doctor if he can send your forms via courier or a verifiable means, and ask for a tracking number.

Hello,
Try and do the medicals in your home country, U need to tell the DMP that he/she has to send the result to Ottawa and not Buffalo, the address he/she is to send it to is already on the medical form Buffalo sent you.
Ottawa will re analyse the result of the medical test and then in turn electronically send it to Buffalo.

AOR feb 16 05
IA nov 17 05 no interview no add documents needed.

I will take my medical in my home country next week and doctor will send the results to Ottawa. Will keep you informed.
