What is the time line these days to get back FBI report after mailing? Any experience to share?

Usually take 4-6 weeks . In periods where they have a high volume to deal with , it can extend to 8 weeks . If after 4 weeks you dont hear from them , send an email to mih@leo.gov with your details . They will respond immediately and let you know when to expect the results .

Be sure to put a deadline of about four weeks on the OUTSIDE of the envelope as well as inside on the cover letter.

I put my deadline on the outside of the envelope and recieved them back in 4 weeks. I though this was amazing since we sent them from Europe with regular mail.

I already sent a month ago w/o lebeling the "deadline". But I really need to get it now. Do you think if I call them and rqst for the same now...will it work?

PLEASE email them or call on their toll free no. even if you are outside usa. they will tell you approx. when they will mail it to you.
