Subject: i received something strange
  HI everyone.

i had interview in the 1-6-2004, the officer approved my application in the interview and I submit new police clearance at the interview time, they sent me letter asking me to do the medical test and ROLF one month after the interview. I sent all this documents. The expected step after that, they will ask me to send my passport, but the strange thing happened, after two month of the medical test they send my asking 2 things:
1- up-to date police clearance.
2- "declaration from you explaining in details my involvement in any criminal proceedings in your country or any other country"
my question is:
1- anyone has similar case?
2- i submit new police clearance before 3 months at the interview why they ask about it again?
3- Why they ask about this PC and declaration in this time? There is anything wrong.

Something is not right. Please provide updated certificate soon to remove apprehensions. It is OK to get a certificate again......they do their job and so you do yours quickly. Don´t worry, it will be alright. Just a careful check. Bests.

There are two possiblities here why CIC requested you to submit the documents:

One. CIC could have made a mistake in handling your application. They might have overlooked other documents you submitted earlier.

Two. CIC discovered something fishy during the background/security checks.

Again, these are only possibilities and my own opinion.
