Hi, Optimus
u r right. I am in the same boat. My CIC office is in Singapore. They wrote me a letter after PP requesting to pick up the PP without visa.The reason is same. i.e. Yearly Quota. This is not for ALl CATAG. only for economic Class and also only for some CIC like Singapore, Delhi, Dhaka, Manila. They indicated in that letter, they will request for PP again in December´2005 for issaunce visa early 2006. The term "early 2006" is now common word in this forum. I am now waiting for PPR. Lastly i like to say" Quota policy is true bcoz, i have a letter from CIC. However, CIC Manil have already strated to issue visa from the Mid of this month (I got this information from this forum)

Thank you for updating us. Hopefully Buffalo will also get rolling in December for finalization in "early 2006." At least we can hope.

Pls tell me from where u got information about other cic offices like India, Manila etc. CIC wrote in their letter or u read from this forum.

I got the information CIC Manila from their website. I got the information CIC Delhi from this forum. I think you are from India. Brother, this is fact. What is your time line.
My appl date Feb´ 2001
First interview call Feb´ 2004 (I didn´t get their letter)
2nd they call me Jan´2005
Advised me for IELTS
I sent it 1st week of March´2005
Medical request March´2005
Medical and landing fee completed: March´2005
I got a letter to submit my PP on August
They return me the PP port with a letter regarding early 2006 and quota.
Now I am waiting for PP request in December´2005 as per their letter.
I know this is lengthy process. However, nothing to do. We have to wait for waiting, May be for sometime or longtimes or nobody knows......................
