Subject: case refused--Appeal
  HI ,
I sponsored my mother under the Tsunami category.I applied for her sponsorship jan 2005.While i was applying,i could not able to meet the minimum salary cut off requirement.I completed my master´s program Dec 2004.So I have shown only my wife salary as the income.Actually i should show 37K but we could show 27K.
The immigration officer refused my mother application based on the minimu salary cut off.

At Present myself and my wife are doing good job and we can easily the miminum salary cut off.
Do I have to go thro a lawyer for appeal or shall i go alone and appeal?
Anyone have previous exp .please help me.

Regards
Ratnam

Hey Syd (in reply to: case refused--Appeal)
Hey Syd what is the purpose of thanking other people for their support in this form as an answer to a friends question >>???

Freetorn: Mate no need to pay a lot of money to a lawyer, since you are financially comfortable, reapply again and explain the situation in details and tell them that now you are financially capable of sponsoring your mum and prove it by supporting the required documents, I do not think you will have any trouble...

Good Luck

I agree with Instructor, no need for a lawyer and no need to appeal either because you don´t have chances to win, at the time of application you were not fulfilling the conditons, simply re-apply and everything should go smoothly (hopefully)
