I am applying for Canadian Immigration from the US. I have one question about Police Certification.
Do I require Police Certificate (based on Finger Prints check sent of FBI) just for myself and mention my wife´s name on the letter to FBI? Do I need to get a separate police certificate for my wife as well?
Would appreciate a response.

one FBI for you and one for your wife
When submitting the fingerprinted cards to FBI, remember to include a deadline date on the request letter and envelope..for faster results.

Where on the form do I specify the deadline date?
What is a reasonable date to mention? e.g. if I am submitting to FBI today 28th Nov 2005, what date should I put as the deadline date?

Are you submitting the fingerprinted cards already or just a request for the fingerprinting card?
The deadline is only applicable I think if you are submitting the fingerprinted card already.
If you are, in your request letter you can add a sentence that goes something like this. I will appreciate very much if I can receive the report on or before ________ (give at least 3 weeks). I gave them 4 weeks allowance and got the report in 2 weeks.
Also, on the envelope write the deadline date just below the address

Any idea where I can get FBI fingerprinted card.
I went to DMV and they said they dun give that.
