HI,
Just wondering if someone can help me out.
I am currently in Canada on a TRP.
My wife has sponsored me and the application in being processed at CHC-New Delhi. I have got a PPR from the embassy.
Can I send my passport via courier to the Embassy from Canada to get it stamped?
And after they mail the passport back to my home in India, can they courier me the passport back to me in Canada?
Do I have to leave Canada to get my PR status?
Ant help will be appriciated

AS U HAVE INDIAN PASSPORT,AND ACCORDING TO INDIAN GOVERNMENT U CANT SENT UR PP OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY!!! THEREFORE U MIGHT HAVE TO GO BACK INDIA TO GET PR STATUS.
OR U CAN SEND UR PP TO INDIA IF ANY OF UR FRIEND OR RELATIVE IS GOING TO INDIA.

Bobby, it would be safer to travel to India. If you lose your passport enroute to india you will be in a lot of trouble.
BTW, I had a question regarding spousal sponsorship. can I email you offline ?
