Subject: Sharon, the letter says... |

I mentioned previously regarding an e-client update. They sent my husband a letter stating:
1. Because the medical expired, he is only required to do a chest Xray. That is all they want with respect to his medical; and
2. He has to get another character letter from the police.
What do you think this means, and are we almost done with the whole process?

(in reply to: Sharon, the letter says...) Can you share your timeline please?

(in reply to: Sharon, the letter says...) This is a spousal sponsorship taking place in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Application sent to Miss - December 1st
Processing in Port of Spain started January 7, 2005
Haven´t heard anything from CIC until November 22, 2005.
Did medicals and got police clearance last December before we sent in the application.
Hope that helps.

(in reply to: Sharon, the letter says...) I submitted my husband´s application late and his medical also expired. The representative tried to get an extension which was not approved. He will have to redo his medical, but she did not say anything about his police clearance. However, his last police clearance was done in May 2005.

(in reply to: Sharon, the letter says...) Yes, they are almost done with the process. For example once they have my husband´s new medical his visa will be issued.
