are you or your husband a Canadian citizen or permanent resident? if a citizen, one can sponsor the other abroad, if a resident only, you´ll have to be inside canada to sponsor a spouse.

if you´re wanting to do skilled worker you´ll need to apply via new delhi I believe. (ask the other skilled worker applicants as I am family class)

skilled workers take 2-3 years minimum. family class sponsorship takes under a year.

goodluck!

Hi Singh,

The best option for you is to sponsor your husband under the family class. But as you are a permanent resident of Canada you will have to sponsor him after you return to Canada and live there till the application is complete.

New Delhi, India is the fastest visa post when it comes to sponsoring your spouse. You can expect the application to be processed in 2 to 4 months.

Please visit the link below to get detailed information about the procedure of sponsoring your husband:

If you apply under the Skilled worker category you are looking at 2-3 years minimum.

Spousal would be your fastest route with time frames 8 months or less depending on where you apply to.

goodluck!
