| Subject: instructions to fill IMM0088 |
Hi,
I am about to mail my forms for PR to buffalo. I was going through the checklist. The check list says that the main application form needs to be filled and signed. But I couldnt find any space to sign the form. What should I do.

do you mean IMM 0008 (Schedule 3 - Economic Classes - Federal Skilled Workers)? If so, you need to just complete and need not sign as instructed in the Form IMM 0008

It says

The second line in the text that I have pasted above talks about signing the application form and then goes on to talk about Schedule 1 etc.. But there is no place to sign on the main form. That was my question

That should be OK. I applied in Oct 2005 with the following forms.
IMM 0008 - Immigration for Permanent Resident - I filled in and did not sign.
IMM 0008 - Schedule 1 - Background declaration - I and my wife filled and signed one of each of us.
IMM 0008 - Schedule 3 - Economic Classes - Federal - I filled and did not sign.
IMM 5406 - Additional Family Information - I and my wife filled and signed one of each of us.
FYI, I got the AOR by Nov 2005 that means, my application forms are fine.
So, you just sign the forms where you are required to.
