Subject: Original transcripts and UK CIC office
first of all this is the best forum i have ever found, targeted by very serious community.
Now my question is

I´m in a final position to submit my file in a day or two for the Canadian PR at UK office,
but yesterday I read in guide they want the original Transcripts in institution envelope,
my All documents are Notarized and currently I´m far away from my home country and working in U.A.E
Neither I feel I my institutions will help any more to issue me the transcripts again. As i passed out a long time,

I have all Notarized transcripts and even i can get their color photo copies too.
IS it fine?

or should i attach explanation note with CIC forms about sending the Notarised transcripts and why not submitting the originals.

My second question:

I´m already registered for the IELTS exam which is in Feb, at the moment I´m only mentioning in my Application that I will submit my Result in Feb, Is it acceptable?

Thanks alot
Nimra

hi (in reply to: Original transcripts and UK CIC office)
proof of language is a must while applying.it can be either written submission stating why you claim english proficiency like working in an english country or degree from an english speaking country etc etc.if you dont have sufficient proof of english then you have to write IELTS before submitting application.you cannot claim points for an exam you are planning to write in feb.i am sure they will return the application without processing if you submit it without proof of english proficiency either by IELTS or written submission.
with regard to transcript why dont you ring CIC london directly and ask whether they will accept the notarised copy? (it makes me wonder why you say you wont get another transcript from where you study .i am sure if you are studies in unioversity were "genuine" they wouldnt hesitate to issue any number of transcripts if you pay fees even after many years

Well friend no matter you are far from the country you had your education or no matter when or how many years ago you finished your studies those institutions always keep a track of all the subejects you studied and your grade- marks you recieved so you can just ask a family member to help you or send a letter to those institutions i am sure they will issue a new one and will send you if you pay the required fees...

Good luck

Nimra, I dont know from what country you are from originally. But there are websites that do services for a fee. If you want to avoid the hassle. In India there is a great website called:
www.yourmaninindia.com

They do things like police certificates, transcripts etc. Police certificates for India if you are abroad are better obtained from your embassy website (ie for India)

Or like Syd and Curiousmale have mentioned go the old fashioned trusted route, just get it directly from the instituition.

I´m from Pakistan. we have a very diffent system of education our all institutes are under assorted boards, like secondary, higher secondary, Technical board,
even contacting the each Board of education by phone or email would not give the solution unless I personally go there and wait for 7 to 15 days till get the transcripts :(
I´m feeling today quite help less and feeling quite
help less.the more I´m trying to submit the file more delays are aheading me.
But my all of document?s photo copies are directly attested from the Institutions and boards.
Do you think it would be better to submit application to cic in these conditions (untill I wait to get the vacation and then visit my home country to get the transcripts) or they will return back my file till i submit the original

I can totally understand your situation. Would you be able to contact the UK office directly and explain your situation?
Probably they might come up with an alternative. Although, honestly it might be better just to wait rather than having the UK office sending you the whole appl. back saying its incomplete. Hopefully someone else in this forum can provide some insight.

Good luck!

Dear Nimra,
I am not sure about the other cities of Pakistan. But all the institutions in Karachi, including secondary, intermediate board, professional institutions issue original transcripts in sealed envelope.
Just ask your relative back home to contact the authorities, they charge some fees and you? ll get the original transcripts within 15 days. I did the same and received all the original transcripts. It is time consuming going to every institute filling request forms etc. But this is what you need to do.

Good luck

Forgot to mention that I recently submitted my application to CIC UK. It is clearly mentioned on their check list that all transcripts should be in sealed enevelope. I agree with doughnuts that you better wait until you get your transcripts according to the instructions given in the check list. I know some of my friends who submitted notarized transcripts with their application and they recieved the AOR, but again it is risky, if I were you I would have waited for original transcripts.

dear doughnuts
Spot on :)
I am a medical doctor doing research :)
Neuregulins are special type of ligands of tyrosine kinase receptor family, commonly deregulated in cancers. If you want further information about neuregulins just go to pubmed and you ll find loads of info there :)
After reading your posts I doubt that you work at dunkin donuts ;)
