Subject: never heard about my IELTS, pls hlp
  hi everyone! Please help!!!!
I got IELTS request letter from CIC on June 05 and finally took mine at the IELTS center in my city in July 05 (FYI, appl May 05, AOR june 05). But the problem is I didn´t ask the center to submit the result to CIC @ the first place (when application was filled out). After the test was done, I came to the officer and asked them to send my test result to CIC. They didn´t charge me any fees, but I´m sure she put my name in the computer database (I saw her type my name & everything). I asked her how much money do I have to pay, and she said dont worry about it. Fortunately, my average band was 7.5, but I was still worried about the result whether being sent to CIC or not. So I called the center and make sure they did it. They said it was already sent altogether with the others, but they couldn´t help me to look up to the computer because they were too many. They were sure they´ve sent all the result if I ever requested to them to do so.
From my office, I also faxed the copy of the result to CIC and telling that my original one was on the way.
The reason I concern is, I have never heard from CIC about it after that. However if they haven´t received yet, it´s too late for me to submit by mail. I am still waiting for IA right now.
Do you think they received my IELTS and too busy to send a confirmation letter to all applicants (of course it´s gonna be millions of letters, wasting stamps....lol). Or should I email or phone them regarding my IELTS being received or not?
Do you think they will send any notification letter if they HAVEN´T RECEIVED YET within 90 days? (as stated on the letter).
T H A N K S Y ´ A L L............all answers will be appreciated!!!!

Yes,
They would ask you if they didn´t receive, and you have already sent unofficial copy........so,

Don´t worry about it,

Everything would be ok,

Hau

Did you mention your file number when you asked the IELTS administrator to forward your result to the immigration official?

If you did then there is nothing to worry about. Moreover you have already sent a copy of the result so they must have the results.

One thing I want to mention is that the overall score in IELTS does not matter. You should get atleast 7 in each section to get the max 16 points for english proficiency.
