| Subject: IMM 1017s request date on CAIPS code |

Just got CAIPS codes back from filecheck and has the following statement
Application received 07-07-2004, IMM 1017S requested 04-08-2004.
We have not received any correspondence since AOR, is this a medical form we should have received or is this a comment relating to an internal request?
Any help greatly appreciated.
PS Bring forward date is 31-01-2006, London application so their quoted 18 months is hopefully bang on. Fingers crossed everything is OK.

Are you skilled worker? If yes, then that´s a little odd. You are right, IMM1017 is medical request and forms. So it´s a bit odd that CIC would request your medicals only after one month of processing.
What is your AOR date? I would ask for status update after the quoted processing period in your AOR date.

I am in the same situation
We have Application sent at the same time and AOR in August 2004.
Like you I have no news since than?
I am waiting for my CAIPS so I can see what is going on.
Let me know if you have any news on your case.

Have asked the filecheck company and they have said and I quote:-
"Don´t worry, the comment you mention is just an internal one - it means that your medical forms were prepared and placed in your file ready for use when needed on that date, but of course CHC doesn´t send the forms out until after your selection decision is completed."
So all seems well, happily.
