Subject: TOEFL score instead of IELTS |
To establish proficiency in English ,is it OK to submit TOEFL scores in lieu of IELTS scores.
Please advise.

(in reply to: TOEFL score instead of IELTS) It is clearly mentioned that IELTS is for ENglishevaluation of proficency not TOEFL also Toefl has no speaking module so if you want to take ZERO in speaking, ok go ahead and submit TOEFL

(in reply to: TOEFL score instead of IELTS) I know of a person who got through with TOEFL. Perhaps depends on the Officer and the current rules. So, you can submi TOEFL scores and if the officer is unhappy or unconvinced, he may ask you to take IELTS and you could do it. Else, you are through!!! Makes sense??

Anything other then IELTS is considered as ´Supporting Document´ to prove your language ability.
It is of no meaning to appear for IELTS and submit it later if IA has been done.
