HI I am in Canada. I would like to sponcer my wife,who is in india.
Right now i am not working in canada.Preparing for medical board exams in canada.
I would like to sponcer my wife,who is in india.
Please tell me the clear information A to Z to sponcer my wife.
Pleasee i am requesting any of you,who knows this process.
I am Indian ,worked in west indies and got my PR,when i was in westindies.My wife is from India.recently married.So can i file for my wife in india? or should i go back to westindies to file for my wife?.
Please i would like to know the process to sponcer my wife in India.

i think you have to apply to CIC Missusaa within canada for the spouse and get the appproval .after that your wife should apply to CIC new delhi.
by the way , what was your time line in westindies .i think you applied through Port - of - spain. how much time did it take to get the PR approved?

Hi Raja,
Please visit the following link to get detailed information about sponsoring your wife. You should download the sponsorship and immigration guide and read them very carefully.

You will have to stay in Canada throughout the process of sponsoring your wife - no need to go to West Indies. The procedure is very simple and it can take 2 to 4 months for your wife to get her PR visa from India.
If you are just sponsoring your wife then there is no minimum income requirement. But you should include some information about how you are supporting yourself in Canada.

HI i applied from west indies.
It took just 3 years.yes i have applied in port of spain.
