Hi,

You may apply now from the USA if you were admitted for a period of least 12 months. However, it is quite doubtful that you will receive Canadian PR within the next six months.

I think atleast it is going to take 1 1/2 year to 2 years to get the Canada PR card.I have been applied for my PR card on Jan 2004,till now i didn´t get the visa.
