I applied in July 2005. got file No. in Aug 2005. They stated that they will take 8-10 months.
Please share your timeline, i m from Pakistan.

it took 22 months for me to recieve CSQ and 4 months to receive medicals after sending the federal part.
CSQ is fast only if you have job offer or been in Quebec before do you have any of them?

Hi
I am 24 yrs old,working for last one year and completed my masters degree from Uk (Well sort of in process of receiving), I did my bachelors from USA. My french is intermediate and have completed a 6 month french course from France and another short term course from Quebec. Also, worked in a french hotel in montpellier for 6 months(while studying).
I just applied 3 days back for CSQ from Damascus, since I am an indian citizen(with UAE residency). Can someone ple suggest me the timeline, and my chances for obtaining the CSQ.Thanks

amir, your application now moves over to the Canadian embassy in Pakistan to complete the process. You still need to go through medicals, background checks and all other things the government of Canada requires. once that is done, they will request your passport.
Can´t tell you how long that will take - sorry.

Could you please tell me that which kinda questions will be asked in french in CSQ interview. My interview is in next month in Pakistan. I am studying in Level - 6 in Alliance Francaise,

don´t know exactly, but they will likely want to talk to you in french about your job skills etc to see if you can actually work and function in the french language or are you simply using CSQ to get your PR quicker. (it has been known to happen) So, make sure you are legit and can do your job in french.

Thanks Sharon for your quick respnse. I dont think its quicker as i applied in 2005 and now its almost 3 and a half years. i have written in my form that i wil give interview in English but i have also dont 5 levels of french and studying in 6th.
