Hi all, I am a SW applicant from Turkey I got a problem and need your opinion. I did my medicals in March 2005 and that time CIC also asked me to have my depandant´s medicals done too (although I was not taking him with me,) CIC told me to keep his sponcorship opportunity I had better have his medicals done too. Then I thanked them and asked them to send me the documents to take him to the doctor, although I sent them several mails they finally could send his documents in November 2005. But the problem is that our medicals are sent to France from Turkey by the designated doctor here (for further analyse I guess) and they are sent back to Turkey later. And this takes about 4-6 months.. So by the time the result of my son´s medicals come my medicals will expire and probably I will be required to see the doctor again, and this process will continue forever because again when my son´s results arrive mine will expire , when mines arrive his medicals will expire ...(becasue it takes six months to get the result of our medicals arrive in Turkey)What should I do about this problem ? Can anyone give me any useful suggestion ?/ Thank You

do an additional medical for yourself along with your son. the solution is simple. eventhough your medicals will not expire when your son`s medicals are done , do a medical for your self too together with that. ask CIC to send forms fro your too.

medical centre in france does not require 4-5 months to send results to Ankara, it only takes 6-8 weeks.
you´d better do your son´s medicals ASAP as they are required for your visa anyway, and remeber you can apply for extension for your visa up to 3 months after your medical expiry date.
