| Subject: when is the cut off time to send IELTS? |

my dear friends
I applied to London visa office in 13/feb/2004
in 7/2005 they asked me to do IELTS and submit bank statment , update employment letter , payment invoice photocopy
they told me that i have 3 months to send these documents
I send all documents without Ielts because i tried to score 7
now it has been 5 months since this time , and i have to wait additional 3 months to finish my IELTS , and GOD only now if i would score 7 or not ??
please help me if any one have any idea about the cut off time untill they refuse my case if i am late to submit the IELTS

Did you submit all these documents when you sent your application initially ? Are they asking for them for the first time or ? Havent they mentioned any timelines when they requested these documents ?

no , i did not sent this documents from the begining , because my attorney said it my expired when they start processing my case
second question : no they did not ask, they asked only 5 months ago , thats mean after 17 months
yes , they mention 3 months to send IELTS with these documents together , but i sent these documents only because my IELTS score was 5.5 ( 4 L , 5.5 R , 6 W , 6.5 S )
and this not enough , I have to score ( 5 , 5 , 7 , 7 ) to be total points gained is 12 in language points and that i what need
friends ???? any answer for my inquiry please??:))

Alx,
I am not sure may be some experts could guide you better. what I know is that visa officer will give you points based on the documents you have provided at the time of you´r application ( as you just ignored the IELTS request). I would suggest you to take the IELTS again as soon as possible. You sould talk to your lawyer it is his responsibilty to guide you properly.

I am sorry for your situation.
I am not sure why it would be the Lawyers fault that you did not comply with the CIC request letter. They did their job. CIC asked for a reason - they wanted to verify your language skills. Now you are forced to live with the points they assign you.
I don´t know what you would pay a lawyer for a letter but I am sure it is less than the $550 you may have just lost because you did not supply the requested document.
What should the Lawyer say? He has no arguement to make on your behalf to CIC. They are right - you might very well be refused based on this event.
If you are needing 12 points for language before you get a full 67 points I would be inclined to make sure you have the score before you attempt another application.

thank you so much for your feeling , I am sure that all points i need in language skills is 12 only , because i am a civil engineer and my wife is elect. engineer too ( thats mean 1100 CAD not 550 !!
i have submit some documents for english from the begining , and i thought that the lawer correct because of ielts will be expire after 18 months, and may be they not asking me to do ielts ?? so i thought its better to do it when they asking for it
any way , i won this year in American dv lottery !! . so let us see what GOD will select for me . and i am sure it will be the best
