| Subject: How long after medicals, London applicants |

Hi All,
I live and work in Saudi Arabia and have completed the medicals. Does anyone know how long it takes for issuance of visa after medicals ? Following are our time lines.
Applied: Jan 2004
AOR received: Mar 2004
Processing begun: Mar 2004
Addl docs requested:Aug.2005
Interview waived and medicals completed:Dec 2005

Hi Alfi
Your application seems to be going well. If I am right when the CIC requested the new documents they do mention that it may take us 3-4 months to get to you etc etc.
What additional documents did they request ?
Did you get the medical first and your interview was waived after that ?

Dear CT,
Addl docs:The docs (degree)were notarised and sent but they stated that they do not accept third party attestations. Anyway a verification fee was sent and it took them 3 months to get back to me.This caused an unnecessary delay of 3 months.
I recvd.the medical papers to proceed for medicals and they have already recvd.the med reports. I assume the interview has been waived off since they generally do not issue the medical papers if interview is reqd. I believe this is how they operate.
Note: Along with the medicals they had requested up to date PCC´s too.

I guess it would take approx 3-4 months more because thats what CIC mentions with the medical documents it sends.
