| Subject: application in process while out of satatus in usa |

Hello people,
i have my application in process,i did medical exams and submit everything that i need.
i am wondering if they are going to offer me a visa since i lost my status in Usa. if visa received i am wondering if they won?t ask me in the boarder for my legal status prior to enter canada. i will appreciate your idea

where did you apply through?
If you´re trying to apply through Buffalo and you are out of status in USA, they won´t process you. YOu must be IN status in the US and have a current visa/stay approved for one year.

you have no problem from Canadian side, as long as your information regarding address..etc are correct and updated, and you would not have a problem by the borders, the only problem you have is with US authorities.
ejspet, the only requirement for the processing for Buffalo is to be legally ADMITTED for at least 12 months in the US or Canada, if he does have that then he can apply through Buffalo, once application received and processed it does not matter if he even leaves the US, as long as he inform them with new addesss.
