Subject: Question for Joe05
  Joe,

I was reading one of the threads to which you had replied. In your response you had mentioned that there was no number next to your BDEC and yet you know that your case has been finalized and is pending visa issuance.

Can you tell me how you know that? And also please share your timeline.

Here is mine:

Applied (Buffalo): Mar 2004
AOR: Apr 2004
IA: Nov 2004
ROLF+Docs+Meds: Jan 2005

Hi Narmi,

yes based on my most recent CAIPS, my BDEC does not have the number yet...so it looked ongoing. However, when I emailed Detroit asking for status update, they emailed me back that my case is ready for issuance.

I have already shared my timeline but here it is again:

Jan 2004 - applied in Buffalo
Feb 2004 - AOR
Oct 2004 - IA (for interview in Detroit)
Mar 2005 - File transferred in Detroit
July 2005 - Interview letter received. Interview set on Sept 2005.
Aug 2005 - Medicals
Sept 2005 - interview in detroit (passed but waiting for medical results)
Dec 15 - emailed Detroit about status inquiry
Dec 16 - email received from Detroit about case ready for visa issuance. Actual PPR letter not received yet.

Hi Joe

The Detroit link for " Cases ready for issuance" can not be found. Do you know if it has been moves?

I think CIC totally removed it. I hope they´ll put it back someday. It was a great feature.

In exchange for this, you can send them a fax or email to inquire about your status.

Here is the link on the Detroit information....fax #, email etc.
