I got "You may send in your RPRF."
Timeline:
AOR - July 2004
IA - Apr 2005
Medical May 2005
Additional documents Oct 2005
e-client changed to "medical received" in Dec.
and last week got reply as "you may send in your RPRF."
Wondering what it implies...

Duh! i know what it means but what i´m wondering is if it is the same thing as the PRPF request, which means passport request is coming soon.

I received the same letter OCT 2005. Paid RPRF. Got an e-mail from Buffalo as "early 2006". Still waiting for response. How useful will caips be at this point?

CAIPS (in reply to: how may got e-mail msg other than "early 2006?")
Since CAIPS takes around 45 days, it is probably more economical to wait for the first few weeks of 2006 and see what CIC does. If the pprs start flowing, the CAIPS may be moot.

for all you know, CIC works on a Sunday, for all you know there is a poor soul stuck in the basement of CIC Buffalo and he/she can´t go home for the weekend until they answer all the email questions. why would anyone send you a scam email from CIC with an answer to your question?

the only value to CAIPS is if you are wondering why you are being called for an interview. Looks like that point is past, your medicals are in, and they want the last of your fees. CAIPS will not tell you when they will issue your PP request. I think you are safe to just sit back and wait out this final leg of the process. You are almost there.
