Subject: Advice please...
  Hello:
I was called to an interview in Vancouver regarding to my sponsorship application. My question is:::should I go dressed like a million bucks to give a good impression???I am from Guatemala and you know....this is a miserable country, so it is scary to think that they can look down on me.
I was thinking to wear my Mink Coat( just got it in Value Village but looks wonderful), and my fake Luis Vuitton Purse..(It is an excellent replica though) and My Channel hinghheels that I got in a yard sale for 5 dolars.
My umbrella is going to be Burberry by the way, I got it as a gift when I used to hook in Guatemala, before becoming a Maid of respect in Canada.
Bye... all your inputs will be taking into consideration.
Have a great day...

I would go in there looking classy, not neccessarily like you walked off of the run way in Milan or NYC. Wear Business casual. I think a fur coat LV purse is over the top for an immigrations interview. They aren´t going to be in fancy suits when they interview you, so it makes no sense to wear the best. Nonetheless, do look professional and driven.

Good Luck

Look naturally - be yourself.
Canada is accepting normal people.

Thank you... (in reply to: Advice please...)
Thank you guys/girls...
Thanks for all you opinions, anyways I am a very insecure person who needs to dress-up and wear labels to feel accepted. You know is this wonderful kind of feeling that you get when you put a mink coat on you and turn yourself into a very fancy person. I just love glamour.......
In my country I was very poor but I met the canadian man of my dreams:He has a beautiful house, wonderful 3 BMW´s, He buys me Luis Vuitton, Prada Channel(the real thing). I buy myself fake purses because prefer to use the money to feed my family in Guatemala. But you know...he is the kind of guy who can not get dates with young canadian women because he is possesive as hell and also a little bit too old, and he has to go to this countrys in need to get a beautiful girlfriend like me. Oh..that´s real life unfortunately, but anyways I am making him happy in some way and he is making me happy too so he has the right to have his beautiful girlfriend next to him.

I think that you should look appropriate. When sporting all logos you run the risk of looking rag taggy ( think drug-dealer, or perhaps someone who planned to immigrate to Monaco, not Canada). Dress like you are going to a to a non-suit business meeting. Wear a nice pair of grey or dark wool trousers and a cashmere sweater. Top it off with a good quality belt and wither wear your Chanel shoes OR LV replica bag. If you fo with the bag then perhaps a nice pair of heels or heeled boots, if you go with the purse, then perhaps a nice classic bark colored crock (or mock crock) kelly or Brkin style bag. A nice pair of faux pearl or CZ earrings pull the whole look together. Think of a nation as a business, they want someone who will work, has a good value system and be a benefit to their society. If you could really afford to look like the million bucks your logo outfit suggests, then you would not need Canadian immigration, you would simply go permently vacation in Ebiza villa.
Good luck and
Welcome to Canada
