| Subject: How long to get work permit? |
If the approval from HRDC is submitted with application for work permit how long does it take it get work permit?
If the the job offer is not approved by HRDC as for skilled worker, can one still accept the job and get a work permit?

Two and a half months to process my work visa in Buffalo in the summer of 2005.
I don´t think you will be issued a work visa if your job is not approved by HRSDC. Whether or not to accept this kind of job is up to you...

the employer must satisfy HRDC that there is no Canadians currently available to fill the position you want before they will authorize a work permit. Without this, no permit will be issued.
