Hello everyone. I would like to wish everyone good luck for the new year. I also wanted to know if the IELTS is required for the principle applicant or the spouce as well. Thanx for your help.

IELTS only required for the Principal Applicant.

Hi Ali,
If you have finished a school such as a University or College in an English speaking country, you can send your translated certified diplomas, certificates and transcripts and tell them that (justify) that your English is at advanced level, otherwise no matter how good your English is , you are required to take the IELTS exam...

There is no guarantee about exemption of the test. As Silent mentioned do what you can, but be prepared to take the test anyway.
