Congratulations!!!!!!!! what was your BF´D in your caips ? was the background check completed? when did your e-cas change?

This is what I had posted a month back:
I am an Indian citizen workin in the US on H1B since Feb 2000. I applied for canadian PR on Mar 2004 for myself and my family (spouse + daughter). The following is my timeline:
IMM CAT: SW
AOR: Apr 04
IA: Nov 04
MEDS: Jan 05
DOCS (PC - INDIA, FBI, FUNDS, LOR) + ROLF: Jan 05
Event 1

I was excepting E-CAS to change to "Medicals Received" in Apr 05 but nothing of that sort happened. So I ordered CAIPS (Number 1) in Apr 05 (received it on May 05) and I noticed the following:
1. Medical assessed as M01 for entire family (valid until 18 Jan 2006) and visa office was notified on Mar 2005. Now why did ECAS did not show "Medicals Received"?
2. PSDEC 1 12-11-2004 SELDEC 4 12-11-2004
BDEC 28-02-2005 MEDDEC 0
Everything else was either 0 or empty. Why was MEDDEC 0 when medicals was received and assessed as M01?
After seeing my CAIPS notes I started to believe that ECAS is not serving its purpose.
Event 2

On 15 Sep 05 I sent a letter (via regular post) to buffalo informing them about address change and also requested status inquiry. To my surprise I received a letter from buffalo on Sep 27 (dated Sep 22) and this is what it contained: "Your application has been placed in line for final review with an officer. It could take upto 3 months for the processing to complete and you will notified once all the formalities have been completed"
Does this mean that my background check is complete?

I actually wanted to verify if my background check was complete so I ordered CAIPS (Number 2) on 20 Oct 05 and started a long wait to receive my CAIPS results. In the meantime I read a lot about buffalo responding to email query so I decided take advantage of this and I ended up sending an email to buffalo (status inquiry) on 22 Nov 05. Once again buffalo promptly responded to my email the following day with: "Your application for permanent residence will be reviewed for finalization early 2006. Votre demande de r?sidence permanente sera examin?e pour une d?cision finale au d?but de 2006"
I was kind of disappointed reading this but there is nothing I could do.
Event 4

I had to renew my indian passport on 10 Nov 2005 and I mailed buffalo with copies of my renewed passport on 28 Nov 05. Yesterday I received CAIPS and I was surprised to find no new developments except some notes stating that:
1. Applicant requested CAIPS on XXX
2. Change of address
3. Applicant request status inquiry
One important thing I found was that BF date on every single page was set to 01-12-2005 and to my surprise TODAY ECAS started to display "Medicals Received".

Thanks alot for the information.My BF´D is Jan 13 .. I got the same response : " Your application will be reviewed for finalization early 2006". I also got a letter ( after i sent them) stating: " Your file is with the officer for final review, medicals are valid till March 2006".
My e-cas change to Medicals received in dec 12 ,2005.
I am burning waiting my PPR ..

Congrats Narmi,
We have a very similar timeline. But my BG check is still in process acording to CAIPS notes.
Hope I would get PPR soon.

My E-CAS changed to "Medicals Received" on 5 Dec 2005. So I guess you should be getting it next saturday because your ECAS changed a week after mine.
Dude I am sure you will get it and I really feel your pain and frustration.
