I am an US permanent resident. Currently, attending graduate school in Canada with a study permit.
Due to circumstances, I need to get married to my girlfriend (Indian Citizen) soon and it needs to be outside India (am currently in India and need to leave soon).
I am wondering if it is possible for her to enter Canada on a visitor visa, marry me there, find a job and then apply for a change of visa status including initiating immigration procedures?
Any information related to this will be very much appreciated.
