HI I have multiple visit visa to canada from jan 2003 to jan 2007. and i have applied for PR to canada in 2004 and got through in 2005.
I went to canada just for one day and applied for PR card and my friend address has given to immigration people and come back to USA to go back to my own country to africa(i have multiple visit visa to usa for 5 years).
Now immigration people ask me to come to toronto immigration office to take new pics(they sent a letter to my friernd address).
But i am in Africa,in my own country now.
Every body telling me to apply for Travel document,which i do not want.
My question is?
1.Since i have my visit visa till 2007,shall i use that visa to enter to canada?
2.Shall i enter to canada by bus from USA ,using my landing paper?without travel document? will they allow me?
or they may ask for the reason ,why i left canada without PR card?
if they ask what should i tell to immigration?
3.I was unmarried,when i landed to canada.But now i got married.
Should i tell them that i went to africa,my own country to get marry and all?will they accept this?
Please i am requesting all of you for help.I am new to this site.

I am in africa.but i have visit visa to USA.So i can re enter to Canada from USA by bus without travel document,just using landing paper.So is it possible to do so? or they will send me back?

You are not answering the question. What country are you now in? The USA may refuse you entry even although you have a valid visitor visa. Final determination on each entry is made by immigration officer at port of entry and not by holding a visitor visa. You must satisfy the immigration offier that you have clear intent to leave the USA and that you have sufficient ties to your "home" country including sufficient funds and return ticket, before they will allow you to enter the USA. You may want to check with the USA consulate in your home country before you make any travel plans.

Hi i already visited to usa 6 times.I never had any troubles.I am in Nigeria ,my home country .
i want inmfo regarding travel document,not about entering usa.i can enter usa safely.i never had trouble.

You may want to speak with the Canadian High Commission in Nigeria to prevent any problems.

What would be best reason to tell immigration dept ?
I prefer to apply for travel document in nigeria.I need advise please regarding this.

There is nothing to hide from me.
Only thing iam worrying is,if they do not give the travel document?
thats it.I already got pr and landed in canada and back to my own country.
So there is nothing to hide.

You are a PR of Canada therefore you WILL get the travel document. There is nothing to worry about. A lot of people land in Canada as PR and leave without getting the PR card. The travel document is meant to help people in your situation to return to Canada. Just apply for it and go to Canada.
You do not have to tell anyone that you got married because it does not matter. If someone ask you this question at the port of entry you should tell the truth.

Stacy , there shouldn´t be a problem . A lot of landed Canadian PRs leave Canada without the card . Just go to the Canadian Embassy in VI and tell them you need to go back . They will give you the best advice .
