I am planning to land next week. I have sufficient funds in my Canadian Bank.Is a letter from bank showing my bank balance sufficient as proof of funds or do I need to take last six months statements.Secondly, how can I land by bus from US at niagara falls border. Does the bus stops for sufficient time to complete landing formalities or I have to get off from one take a new one.In latter case can I board bus from border.

just my 2 cents. if you are worried about bus too much, just rent a car or let a friend drive you over to the border. it could be easier that way if you don´t live far from the border.

Can personal cheques drawn on a US based bank be deposited in a Canadian bank?
I have deposited canadian cheques written by a canadian law firm in my checking account in USA.

How did u guys open an account in canadian bank from USA? I would like to know further about this, since we only can carry less than $10grand into the border. We´re the family of 5, we need more than that.
