Any one here have any idea what the Department of HRDC requirements for minimum salary for a person with Ph. D. before a job is considered a skilled job. I found out that the Kuala Lumpur Visa Post can issue a work permit in 28 days and processing time is shorten from 24-36mths to 8-12mths if a skilled worker category applicant has a job offer that is approved by HRDC

This is a difficult question. The salary will depend on the profession, demand, the company hiring, the job responsibilities and even the region/province in which the company is located....
