Friends,
I recently posted that I received IA and I am getting ready to do medicals and request Police certificates.
Although my old passport (Indian) expires in June this year, I did get my new passport last month, it has a different number that the previous one. Now when I send the docs for Police Verfication and those docs back to CIC, will they raise an issue ?
I am thinking that, along with the Police certificate, I will send a copy of my new passport with a letter notifying them abt the same. Do you think that should do ? Please advice.
Thanks.

(in reply to: A minor OR major complication) Yes, you should be fine. I had the same thing happen to me after I did the medicals and police certificates. I just notified the immigration office of the passport change, giving them the new number and the photocopy of the identity page (usually the first page in a passport).
So, don´t worry, you should be ok.
Good luck!

(in reply to: A minor OR major complication) Thanks for your response "waiting", now I feel ok, I was kinda worried.
Have you got your PR ? If not, then when did you submit medicals and PCC ?

(in reply to: A minor OR major complication) Congratulations Raj. Looks like Buffalo has moved on to the December applicants. I didn´t apply till Feb 05, so I guess I have a while to go.
