Subject: Can In-Canada applicants share your landing exp?
  Hi:
I´m an in-canada applicant and I recently got my PPR, and am waiting for my COPR and immigrant visa. Potentially I´ll be doing my landing ritual some time early Feb.

Can some one who was an in-canada applicant and did landing, please share their experience?

It will be great to know the type of questions that the immigration office might ask?

Any additional documents that we need to carry?

This type of info. will me immensely.

Please advise.

Hi Boss:

No, I do not have US visa, and hence would like to know the best approach to do the landing.

There is a lot of info. regarding landing experiences for people coming in for the first time into Canada, but there isn´t a whole lot of info. regarding landing experiences of in-canada applicants.

My timeline:
Provincial Nominee Application date: June 2005
AOR: June 2005
IA: July 2005
Medicals sent: July 2005
E-Client updated to Medical received: Oct. 2005
PPR: Jan. 5, 2006

In-land landing (in reply to: Can In-Canada applicants share your landing exp?)
Hi,
I am also interested about the landing procedures for in-land applicants. Do you really have to go to the US/Canada border or not? What if your TRV expired but you have the immigration visa? Is the border crossing necessary? Please share your experience?
Thanks
