Subject: Visa stamp questions |
Hi,
I am just waiting for my lousy attorney´s photocopy PPR request letter. I am wondering if I can go Buffalo do visa stamp in person with the copy of PPR request letter . Is it OK? I just don´t want to wait for too long for passport back.
Thanks,
Jenny

(in reply to: Visa stamp questions) The PPR request letter is required to get your visa stamped. Usually the Consulate retains the PPR request letter upon stamping and it is not returned to the applicant. I am not sure if the original PPR letter is needed or a fax/photocopy will do. You might want to clarify this from the Consulate directly.

(in reply to: Visa stamp questions) Phaedrus is right. You need to have the original PPR letter with you. Your attorney can keep the copy and give you the original, that sounds more appropriate.
