To all potential PR applicants,
I am sure many of our friends are taking IELTS exam so i would like repeat what I have posted for another guy in this form. I am also giving a very useful site for IELTS practice materials which was given here by another helpful guy whose name I cannot remember now...( Thanks to him...)
Please do not spend a lof of money on IELTS books, just go to the following sites to get detailed information and prepare yourself, if you study hard and if you are at upper intermediate or advanced level in English IELTS is not an exam to be scared of...
First of all IELTS has to modules: 1. Academic Module (for the students who want to study in an English speaking country) 2. General English Module ( For people whose English is assed for immigration porpuses) Therefore you should get information about General English Module...
1. To get information about this exam go to: http://www.ielts.org/candidates/examinformation/default.aspx
2. To download some IELTS Practice materils go to the following site and download those materials free of charge ( Please read the instructions carefully to download the materials) http://artefact.lib.ru/languages/english/
And a final advice search for some other IELTS practice materials online... I am sure the more you get ideas and practice, the more successful you will be in the exam...
