I SUMBIT MY CASE FOR CANADIAN IMMIGIRATION IN MARCH 2001 , FIRSTLY I RECIVE A LETTER THAT I WILL REQUIRE AN INTERVIWE BUT NOW I HAVE RECIVE A LETTER THAT NEW REGULATION APPLYED ON MY APPLICATION AND I MAY HAVE NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND AN INTERVIEW IF I SUMBIT MY DOCUMENTS AND FORMS AGAIN .AFTER SENDING ALL THE FORMS AND DOCUMENTS ON 24TH OF MAY 2004. I RECIVED ANOTHER LETTER WITH MEDICAL FORM THAT I HAVE TO SUMBIT MY MADICAL .THEN NOW AFTER SENDING MY MEDICAL I RECIVED ANOTHER LETTER ASKING TO PAY (RPRF) FEE OR IELTS RESULT.
KINDLY ADVICE ME AFTER SENDING THIS THERE WILL BE AN INTERVIEW OR MY INTERVIEW HAS WAIVED OR WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT.

Hi,
Please don´t use CAPS while typing.
Looking to your situation:
1) You need IELTS with accepted score to get favorable decision under IRPA
2) "THEN NOW AFTER SENDING MY MEDICAL I RECIVED ANOTHER LETTER ASKING TO PAY (RPRF) FEE OR IELTS RESULT."
- I don´t understand this: It should be ´Asking to pay RPRF fee AND (instead of OR) IELTS result´.

i think you will get interviw waiver inshallah. I´ve also similar with you following are my timeline:
I had applied for Canadian immigration since March 2001 from Islamabad as Computer Programmer. Following are the details:
29/03/2001 Application Submitted
13/04/2001 AOR Received
20/09/2003 Letter received of Updated Forms and IELTS
09/03/2004 Documents Submitted
15/03/2004 Letter received for updated proof of funds and original education documents
24/03/2004 Documents submitted
17/05/2004 All original education documents have been received with their covering letter stating that "selection interview is necessary before your application can be processed further. You shall be inform in writing of the date and time of your interview".
Since that I?m waiting for my interview call................
1. What do you think how much time it will take for my interview call?
2. Is there still any chance of interview waiver??

Hi Muner,
Interview waiver will depend on the documents that you submitted recently and IELTS. Since you´ve been asked to submit IELTS then most probably this will be a turning point for an interview waiver decision. So you must pass the IELTS test with flying colors and submit the results asap.

Hi Amir,
As for your questions, most cover letters indicate the number of months you have to wait before an interview notice will be sent. But still, keep your spirits high because an interview waiver is still possible.

and on the cic webside my case is status is still in progress

I think if you got 7 on all bands, you will be given the maximum score of 16. I don´t know with 5.5.
