hey guys,

I need a urgent and expert advice my file was rejected in july 2005 but i didnt know nd did´nt recieved anything ,when i comunicate to update my file to cic, then they told me that we have rejected ur file on july 2005 with the reasons.

I am shocked i dont know about this, as now I allready applied for caips report to see whats going on..

My question is should i go for review or, file up again as now i am having a arranged employmeny also.

can anybody tell me how much time it will take to do evrything means (Review),cause i dont think so that now they can comunicate with me on this file,I think they allready close my file, cause i think if something happens wrong CIC give 60 days to update any information, and my time is over i think or still i can do anything.

Can anybody having same experience plz share.

dont panic (in reply to: Need Expert----Urgent--File rejects)
dear friend,
dont panic. think for yourself what could be the reason why it was rejected ? how many points did you score when you submitted ? did you write IELTS ? how much points did you claim for the language ? the common reason why they reject is inadequate points.

I honestly think you are wasting your time and the time of CIC officers if you are reapplying a fresh application or review without enough points. Try to get the minimum score of 67 points. There are many ways to improve your points like education , language skills etc. Other option is to apply through provincial nomination where point is not a criteria. This is just my personal opinion and you can do whatever you like . You can give it a go if you like .

I am not being rude , this is a fact . I havent heard of anyone being granted PR who have scored points less than pass mark.Hope all other senior members agree .

from personal experience - once a file has expired (July 2005 + 60 period to update information) you are pretty much out of luck. obviously, it would be helpful to know 1) why you did not receieve the CIC letter, and 2) why they rejected your application. If the rejection is based on insufficient points, you need to address that issue before even considering another application. I have not heard of any PR approvals where the applicant has less than 67 in the skilled worker category.

From my experience, you will be wasting your time trying to convince them to re-open your old file.

hi james,
If you are applying independently and do not have any relatives to sponsor you in canada, then here are the easy piece of suggestions for you to get immigration without any hassles.

1. It always helps to have masters degree plus 1-2 years experience or bachelors degree plus 4-5 years experience.
2. A job offer approved by HRDC/2 years education in canada and you should be married.
3.very helpful to write IELTS. I did not do it and later realized from my CAIPS that my english points were alloted 12 instead of 16 from visa officer using subjective judgement.
Now elections are going to come and there might be a change in policies. So it might be wise to wait for 6 months -1 year get experince in your job, write IELTS and reapply. iam sure you will make it through this time.
Best of luck with your application.
