I received today a letter requesting proof of funds, I´m quoting:
"The bank statement from [my bank] for the period of Novemer 2004 shows sufficient funds for your stablishment in Canada. However, in order to comply... ... and before we finalize your application and issue a visa, our office requires recent bank statements from [my bank] to demonstrate that you have the required funds for your stablishment in Canada."

app sent nov 2004 in Mexico
aor jan 2005
meds march 2005
police jul 2005 (or so)
received fax mentioning early 2006
I understand that as it´s been a little more than a year, they need to check if I have spent the money or not, but I haven´t heard in the forums no such thing as to reconfirm proof of funds. It is not a problem for me, I´ll send the docs tomorrow first thing, It´s just that I was waiting for the PPR.
Any way, I´ve learned in this forum that many of the "early 2006" club members are receiving their PPRs and I´m happy for all of them, the ones that haven´t received it yet, should get very shortly.
CIC also reminded me that my medicals will expire on 11 March 2006 so I have 30 days to present the documents requested.
I hope the PPR comes before 11 march!
