Hi
My girlfriend has an appeal in the federal court of canada to extend her visitor´s status. She has an application in process as a skilled worker, and has an HRDC approved job offer. She has now been told by London CHC that she needs to leave Canada and wait for her application to be complete there.
Is there anyway around this? Is there anyone in Canada we can speak to to help her stay here and wait for her application to be complete. She will sign anything to agree that if her application is refused (which is highly unlikely as she has more than enough points etc), she will leave?
We have been told that her application will be completed and she will eventually get her PR card, but who knows how long that will take.
She lives with my daughter and I and has been here for 1.5 yrs.
I dont understand what difference it makes, it she waits for the completion of her immigration here or in the UK. She is not working and is no security risk.
Please help. This will greatly affect the wellbeing of my daugther and she has such a strong bond with her and is taken care of by her whilst I am at work.
